4/16/2026 - life updates [IRL]
sorry for the website's current slowness! i've had a lot of stuff going on irl. i'm currently going through driving school, which is pretty neat, but is also taking up a lot of my mindspace.
before i made this site i had a bunch of games in a "to-play" list, which had over 50 games in it. i recently added more. i hope to go through these and play them all. i recognize some of the titles as games that are actually well-liked, like Armless Detective and late july, midsummer, so hopefully, i'll enjoy those. i might make a blog post in the next few days where i yap about the new roblox premium changes, but i'm not really sure how i feel about it yet.
there's also a bit of website upkeep i'd like to do-- i want to try and figure out how to do a dark mode toggle and a toggle for higher contrast. there's also a bunch of images i need to add alt text for. hopefully, will be coming soon!
3/24/2026 - new face changes... [PLATFORM_CHANGES] [CRITICISM]
....so, it happened. roblox finally got rid of classic faces. and it's even worse than what i (and probably others) originally thought!
this (which is my alt account, by the way) is what i was greeted with when i first noticed the changes. this looks TERRIBLE. and it's even worse. previously, roblox had explained that you could set the faces to look normal but they'd still blink. a-ok with me, although i can't say the same for everyone, and that's okay. but guess what? YOU CAN'T. IF YOU USE R6, YOU CANNOT SET THE FACES TO BE STATIC. nearly very single face with a smile looks like this. every. one.
you can't even tell what exactly this face is anymore on r6 if you wear glasses, or any face covering, or bangs, anymore.
on the left is what my avatar's headshot looked like before. on the right, after. even disregarding the smile, it just looks BAD. why are the freckles so hideously enormous? it looks like my avatar painted dots on it's face. also, if you can't tell from the image, they got RID OF MY CHEEKS HEAD. it wasn't free! i paid actual robux for it, (and so did others) and it was just stolen.
i don't really know how to end this off. i don't understand at all how roblox thinks this is good for literally anything except pissing off their playerbase and costing them money. to end this off, heres a simple comparison of the freckles face on and r6 and r15 avatar.
